Job summary

De Havilland Field is seeking a Project Manager - Industrialization to lead and execute project plans aligned with our manufacturing strategies. You will drive the design of manufacturing cells and plant layouts while coordinating Make vs Buy decisions with solid business cases.

The role requires a technical post-secondary degree and 5+ years of aerospace experience, plus strong project management and Lean improvement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of aerospace engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret aircraft drawings, and communicate effectively.

• Develop and execute project plans aligned with manufacturing strategies.
• Develop manufacturing cell design and plant layout.

Profile

The Project Manager - Industrialization will be responsible for developing and executing project plans aligned with company manufacturing strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development, coordination and execution of transformative projects linked to improved production efficiencies
• Development of manufacturing cell design and plant layout
• Coordination of projects aligned to company manufacturing capabilities and strategies (Make vs Buy) including business cases
• Project Governance and Oversight

Education & Experience

• Technical post secondary degree
• 5+ years of Aerospace work experience in an Engineering/Methods/Manufacturing

Environment

• In depth technical knowledge of Aerospace Manufacturing Systems, Aerospace Engineering Systems and the aircraft
• Experience in leading project teams and possess strong project management skills
• Experience in the identification and implementation of New Manufacturing Technologies
• Knowledge and experience with Lean concepts with a spirit for continuous improvement

• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
• Ability to manage and act on multiple projects and priorities at one time.
