Job summary

Epsilonfab in Canada is seeking a Labourer – Touch up Painter to produce high-quality, defect-free work while meeting deadlines in a safe manner. The role involves surface preparation, applying paint and primer, and maintaining equipment, supporting multiple plant tasks as directed by the Plant Manager.

The position requires painting experience, comfort with hand tools and a forklift, and the ability to meet physical demands, including lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience painting and detailing required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truck.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license.
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Applies paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces, such as windows and trim.
• Verifies and uses the proper paint as directed and according to specifications.
• Applies primer or finish coat of paint using brush or roller.
• Cleans paint equipment.
• Assists in a variety of areas throughout the plant, including cleaning and sweeping, as directed by the Lead and/or Plant Manager
• Cross-trains and performs the work of other job tasks as directed.
