Job summary

Wesgar Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Powder Coater to join our Port Coquitlam production team. We offer day and afternoon shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The role focuses on preparing, coating and inspecting precision sheet metal parts while upholding quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of powder coating experience in an industrial setting and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of powder coating experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Ability to operate powder coating equipment and troubleshoot common coating issues.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, routing sheets, and work instructions.
• Comfortable performing basic calculations required for production work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to follow instructions, accept coaching, and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and powder coat parts according to routing sheets, drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect metal parts before and after coating to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot common powder coating and finish issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of powder coating equipment.
• Handle and issue powder coating materials as required.
• Follow all safety, quality and production procedures while keeping the paint line moving efficiently.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced IndustrialPowder Coater to join our production team. We have openings for day shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) and afternoon shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM). • Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with powder coating systems, material handling, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Schedule & Pay Details

• Shift: Day shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) or Afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
• Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
• Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience
• Job Type: Full-Time
