Job description

Marid Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Industrial Painter to join our team! This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual to join our growing team. This position is primarily responsible for the efficiency and high-quality application of paint and finishes to various surfaces.

This position requires a strong focus on maintaining safety standards, quality control, and effective organization of materials to support production and construction activities. The individual will collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and uphold the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Night Shift once trained - Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:30am (Applicants must be available for daytime training shifts Monday to Friday 6:30am - 4pm).

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Proficient in using basic computer applications for inventory management and reporting
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software is required
Responsibilities
  • Prepares surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed
  • Applies paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
  • Ensures quality control by inspecting finished work for consistency and adherence to specifications
  • Organizes and maintains inventory of paints, tools, and equipment
  • Maintains and cleans painting equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Reports any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Follows all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Participates in toolbox meetings
  • Participates in continuous improvement
