Reporting directly to the Team Coordinator of the Finishing department, we are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our product manufacturing team. In this hands-on production role, you will execute painting jobs end-to‑end, including surface preparation, mixing coatings, spray application, and final quality inspection and cleanup.
As our new Industrial Painter, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes that meet strict standards for appearance, durability, and colour consistency. You will work with industrial spray equipment and surface preparation tools in a fast‑paced environment where precision, consistency, and attention to detail are essential, contributing directly to product quality and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time hourly contract role (approximately 6 months), working day shift (7:30am–4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30am–2:00pm Friday), on‑site at our Scarborough manufacturing facility, with potential for permanent employment depending on business needs.
Ownership and pride in your craft. This is a role for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality surface finishes. You will build hands‑on expertise in industrial spray painting, including surface preparation, masking, colour mixing, spray application, and finish quality inspection. You will develop speed, consistency, and technical confidence while working in a structured production environment where quality standards are clearly defined and expected. You will be part of a team that values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, where your ideas to improve processes and finish quality are encouraged.
Skill development in a specialized trade environment. This is an opportunity to work in a production environment where you will learn directly from experienced team members and build capability in a highly practical trade. You will gain exposure to a range of coatings, substrates, and finishing requirements.
The salary range for this role is $24 - $25/hr. Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on your experience, skill set, and alignment with our internal compensation framework. We’re always happy to answer questions about compensation throughout the hiring process.
