Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair equipment in a food manufacturing setting. Duties include preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging lines, and refrigeration systems, plus diagnosing and repairing downtime-causing issues.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards. Safety-focused technicians preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• 5 years related experience in industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, mixers, packaging and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions, identify root causes and minimize downtime.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the production area per GMP/HACCP/OSHA.
• Document maintenance work orders, inspections, and parts replacements.
