Job summary

Qualifications

• Provincial Trade License or Certificate of Qualification required.
• 4+ years experience maintaining metal stamping presses and related equipment.
• Knowledge of press room equipment and metal fabrication.
• Ability to work with limited supervision; electrical background an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble equipment such as presses and conveyors.
• Read blueprints to determine procedures.
• Dismantle and move machinery using hoists and dollies.
• Construct foundations and align machines as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication.
• May install robots.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and lubricants.
