Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in Aurora, Ontario is seeking an Licensed Industrial Millwright to join our team. The primary focus is maintaining production and facility equipment to support our food-packaging operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, fabricate parts to improve safety and efficiency, and work on a rotating shift schedule including midnight, afternoon, and day shifts. Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems, pumps, and machine alignment is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Industrial Millwright License.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and fluid power schematics for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and building equipment.
• Fabrication of machine parts to improve safety and/or machine efficiency.
• Follow a preventative maintenance and safety program and document appropriately.
• Work an 8 hour - 2 week rotation (midnight, afternoon, and day shift).
• Keep the building running safely and smoothly.

We are looking for an Industrial Millwright to join our Team in Aurora, Ontario.

Primary Purpose and Function:

Licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic.

• Must have Industrial Millwright License

Major Duties And Responsibilities

Maintain production and building equipment. Fabrication of machine parts to improve safety and or machine efficiencies.

Knowledge And Skill

• Must have competent skills and knowledge in pneumatic systems,
• Work safely while performing maintenance functions in manufacturing or processing environments.
• Be competent to operate safely general shop machine and hand tools such as, Lathes, Grinders, and Welders.
• Service and maintain Hydraulic systems,
• Power transmission components, disassembly and reassemble and proper techniques for alignment.
• Inspection and repair of centrifugal pumps and valves.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and fluid power schematics for troubleshooting.
• Plan and safely perform rigging and hoisting operations.
• Join metals using oxy-acetylene and electric arc welding techniques.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment such as tow motors scissor lifts and overhead cranes.
• Knowledge and practice of lockout/tagout procedures for the safety of self and others.

Additional Responsibilities

• This individual will have daily duties and responsibilities. They will have to follow a detailed Preventative Maintenance and Food Defense Program schedule and fill out the proper documentation.
• Must be able to work an 8 hour - 2 week rotation (midnight, afternoon, and day shift)
• Keeping the building running safely and smoothly
