Job summary

Technica Mining in Timmins, Ontario is hiring multiple Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our growing team. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul plant and mine equipment in shop, plant, field and underground environments.

A valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright license is required. Welding and fabrication experience is an asset; you must read blueprints and work well in a fast-paced, safety‑driven team. We offer a competitive hourly rate and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright license required.
• Experience repairing, overhauling, installing and maintaining plant/mining equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
• Team player in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, dismantle, reassemble, overhaul and repair machinery per layouts.
• Operate hoisting devices to position machinery during installation and repair.
• Perform scheduled, emergency and preventative maintenance in shop, plant, field and underground.
• Follow daily line-ups and work safely per manufacturer specs.

About the Role

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as Industrial Mechanic (Millwrights) in Timmins, Ontario. Multiple positions are available, and we are actively hiring to support the continued success of our operations.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing, troubleshooting, dismantling, reassembling, overhauling, and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plans
• Operating hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair of equipment
• Performing scheduled, emergency, and preventative maintenance in the shop, plant, field, and underground
• Following daily line-ups and executing scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards and manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright license required
• Experience with repairs, overhauls, installations, dismantling, modifying, replacing, adjusting, testing, lubricating, and maintaining all types of plant and mine equipment and tools
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset
• Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Willingness to work at any of the underground mine sites Technica operates

Schedule:

• 4-3 Schedule (Monday to Thursday)
• Four (4) Ten (10) hour shifts
