We are seeking an Industrial Mechanic at our Metcalfe facility, Southern Ottawa. The candidate must be available for day shifts during weekdays or weekends.

The main responsibilities include ensuring the reliability and proper functioning of machines, equipment, and systems. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, programming, and leading preventative maintenance on mechanical components. Additional duties include managing parts inventory, leading mechanical shutdowns, reporting, record keeping, housekeeping, and safety improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in industrial mechanics or electromechanics
• Electric competency
• At least three years of relevant industrial experience
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Machining skills
• Arc/TIG welding skills
