Karma Candy Inc. is looking for a skilled technician to assemble mechanical equipment and stationary machinery at our on-site facility. You will coach apprentices, read blueprints, and troubleshoot malfunctions while contributing to maintenance, set-up, and installation projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 1 year to less than 2 years of hands-on experience. On-site work with standard health and life benefits is available under the collective

Responsabilités

• Assemble mechanical equipment.

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Construct foundations for machinery.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Installing machinery and equipment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
