Job summary

Gestal in Dorval, QC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to interpret plans, specifications, and technical documentation of various industrial equipment and to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production machines.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance with specialized tools, participate in the design, manufacturing, and optimization of equipment, and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.

Qualifications

• DEC in Industrial Maintenance Technology or DEC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Maintenance experience on production machines is an asset.
• Experience in maintenance of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic machines is an asset.
• Be comfortable working independently and demonstrate initiative.
• You have very good communication skills.
• You possess good judgment and work well in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans, specifications, and technical documentation of various industrial equipment.
