Veolia North America in Burnaby, Canada is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Millwright to inspect and adjust mechanical equipment, replace pumps, motors, and gearboxes, and support plant upgrades across a 24/7 operation.
The role requires a Red Seal Millwright, 5+ years of industrial experience, and strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with CMMS literacy and precise work-order documentation.

The Industrial Maintenance Millwright will inspect and adjust the mechanical alignment of pumps, replace or rebuild pumps, replace fan bearings, replace motors, repair screw conveyors, rebuild or change gearboxes, install and modify pipelines, and assist in the modification and addition of plant projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This is a permanent, full-time position. The specific schedule (day or evening shift, Monday through Sunday) will be determined based on operational needs and finalized upon hire. The successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility and availability to work various shifts, as our facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The role necessitates working both indoors and outdoors for prolonged and frequent periods, exposing the individual to all weather conditions and extremes, as well as a waste environment. The position requires continuous walking, standing, and climbing, and frequent periods in sustained, physically uncomfortable positions. Regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion are required, including the ability to lift, carry, and position heavy objects using proper body mechanics and techniques. Operation of tools and equipment that generate loud noise and vibrations is also involved.
