SPS West in Calgary is seeking an Industrial Inside Sales Specialist to support industrial customers with inquiries, quotations, sourcing, and order management. You will work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and practical solutions.

You’ll build strong customer relationships, prepare accurate quotations with pricing and lead times, review specifications, and coordinate orders to ensure accurate part numbers and delivery requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial distribution, inside sales, industrial customer service, or technical sales support.
• Familiarity with industrial products, equipment, components, and technical specifications.
• Experience preparing quotations, sourcing products, and processing customer orders.
• Ability to interpret product catalogues, datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
• Strong aptitude for learning technical concepts, interpreting product specifications, and developing product knowledge through training, research, and hands-on experience.

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Industrial Inside Sales Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping customers, and getting things done accurately and efficiently.

In this role, you'll be a key part of our customer service and sales support team, helping industrial customers with product inquiries, quotations, sourcing, and order management. You'll work closely with customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and practical solutions.

What You'll Do

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, quotation requests, and order requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and reliable follow-through.
• Prepare accurate quotations, including calculations involving pricing, margins, markups, discounts, quantities, and unit conversions.
• Review customer requirements, technical specifications, and product documentation to identify suitable industrial products and alternatives.
• Source products and obtain competitive pricing, availability, and lead times from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Process and coordinate customer orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, specifications, pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding quotations, customer requests, supplier commitments, and orders.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and suppliers to resolve issues and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and order information in company systems.
