Job summary

DAEL Thermal Group Inc. is seeking an experienced 308A Sheet Metal Worker to join our industrial HVAC team. The ideal candidate handles sheet metal fabrication, installation and service across industrial facilities, while collaborating with refrigeration and combustion technicians.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, accurate measurement, field installations, and adherence to safety guidelines. Weekend availability may be required and a company vehicle may be provided after probation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in sheet metal and HVAC applications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, modify, and repair HVAC sheet metal systems and components.
• Install and service ductwork, fittings, transitions, dampers, louvers, and related components.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Travel to customer sites across the GTA and surrounding areas as required.
• Complete required service reports, timesheets, material documentation, and other job-related paperwork.
