Job summary

Brand Development Ltd. is seeking a Refrigeration, HVAC Mechanic to join its Regina team to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

The role supports construction, renovation, and ongoing maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have certification as a Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, knowledge of environmental regulations, and experience with HVAC controls,

Qualifications

• Journeyperson refrigeration and air conditioning certification or provincial equivalent.
• Valid refrigerant handling certification and knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Experience installing, servicing, and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals for installations and repairs.
• Test, commission, and verify operation of new and existing systems.
• Maintain service records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with contractors and project managers to support project completion.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a safe condition.
