Job Responsibilities:

• Rework and test new products, programming, processes, or tooling
• Aid in processing current customer orders
• Prepare electronic (CAD) working plans and technical drawings for various window and door projects from preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations, specification sheets, and other data
• Create sub-assembly drawings, including 3D CAD drawings of detailed components, jigs, and fixtures
• Modify existing designs, update, and revise drawings
• Assist with research and development initiatives
• Collaborate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to design and/or production issues
• Assist in administering Engineering Change Notice (ECN)
• Act as back-up to other positions within the Engineering process

Job Requirements

• College Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with CAD and CAM software.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
