Job summary

Signify, Boisbriand-based, offers an internship in industrial engineering. The current role targets LEAN-driven improvements across production and equipment integration, with emphasis on creating detailed production drawings and applying quality practices.

The program runs Sep–Dec 2026 or Jan–Apr 2027, and can lead to a permanent position. You should be pursuing a university degree in mechanical engineering or operations and logistics; a DEC in mechanical or industrial engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations and Logistics Engineering.
• DEC in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is an asset.
• Hands-on experience with LEAN tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks; AutoCAD is an asset.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong French communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with various improvement projects and integration of new production equipment.
• Participate in implementing efficient work cells and sustain methods.
• Use LEAN tools to identify opportunities and propose process improvements.
• Create detailed drawings showing dimensions, views, and data for production.
• Participate in studying and applying quality best practices for office and factory.
