Job summary

Signify is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Boisbriand. You will create detailed manufacturing drawings, develop tooling layouts, and update BOMs while collaborating with the Manufacturing Department to meet client requirements.

You’ll perform time and motion studies to improve planning tools and explore production improvements, with exposure to quality best practices in a dynamic environment. The internship runs Jan–Apr 2027 and can lead to a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations and Logistics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings indicating dimensions, views and information for manufacturing.
• Develop detailed drawings for tooling, molds and factory layouts.
• Communicate with Manufacturing Department to modify drawings for production and customer requirements.
• Create and update bills of materials (BOMs) used in manufacturing.
• Conduct time and motion studies to improve planning tool accuracy and identify improvement opportunities in production.
• Participate in the study and application of quality best practices.
