Overview

Relocation Assistance may be available depending on the position! We are hiring for Day, Swing, and Graveyard shifts with shift differential pay. This is a non-exempt position with hourly rates ranging from $36.65 to $46.65 and higher for Lead roles. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401K Matching.

You will contribute to the overall function and performance of onsite facilities, ensuring quick turnaround on component failures, planning and executing maintenance, site improvements, and machinery optimization related to electrical work.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute electrical installations, including scope, materials, code compliance, and timelines.
  • Install control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, and panels.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install electrical conduit and wiring using appropriate tools.
  • Maintain and replace motor starters, sensors, MCC sections, PLC I/O, VFD, and DCS devices.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, using schematics and diagrams, and implement repairs or improvements.
  • Utilize electrical testing instruments and ensure safety standards per NFPA 70, 70B, 79, and 70E.
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and organize inventory.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sawmill and planer facilities.
  • Troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and ladder logic knowledge.
  • Understanding of automation components and programming.
  • Fabrication skills with welding and mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access).
  • College or technical certification preferred.
  • Four years of related experience or equivalent training.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and communicate effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly stand, walk, handle tools, reach, and communicate.
  • Occasionally sit, climb, or balance; lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Exposure to noise, mechanical parts, weather, fumes, and airborne particles.
