Job summary

Cobalt Refrigeration is seeking a Journeyperson/Apprentice Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across industrial and commercial sites in Abbotsford, Canada. You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and work with PLCs and low voltage systems in renovation and construction contexts.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration with project teams to meet deadlines and ensure compliance. This is a full-time, on-site position with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson/Apprentice Electrician with industrial experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Experience with PLC/low voltage systems preferred.
• Ability to work on construction or renovation sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems according to codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams for wiring layouts.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical work.
• Work on low voltage systems, PLCs and automation components.
• Assist with renovation projects upgrading electrical infrastructure.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain detailed documentation for compliance.
