Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid British Columbia Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or interprovincial Red Seal is required.
• 5 years of experience in production or similar environment.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read or interpret diagrams, schematic drawings and manuals to determine work procedures.
• Industrial Instrumentation & Control Mechanic Certification (Red Seal) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, calibrate and troubleshoot electrical instrumentation and plant equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and processes.
• Operate PLCs and HMI systems, including Schneider Electric PLCs and VFDs, Unity Programming, Profibus, and Wonderware graphics.
• Produce basic electrical drawings.
• Mentor Apprentices through their professional development.
• Perform shift work based on company business needs and overtime as required.
• Foster a positive team culture and comply with company policies.
