Our client, a leading Tier 1 manufacturing supplier, is looking for Industrial Electrician (309A/442A) to join their team. Preference is given to those with automotive experience. The position offers competitive wages, benefits, and steady afternoon shifts with shift premiums.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and machinery.
- Reference equipment manuals for setup and operation.
- Apply ESA/CSA standards related to electrical safety and machinery safeguarding.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to improve efficiency, quality, and volume.
- Maintain injection molding and assembly equipment in good condition.
- Adjust machinery for safe and efficient operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Operate equipment following LOTO and Working at Heights procedures.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and report unsafe conditions.
- Implement permanent corrective actions for electrical/logic problems.
- Follow EH&S and IATF policies, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and protect the environment.
- Work primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma and valid Electrical License (309A or 442A).
- 2-3 years of related experience in manufacturing or automotive settings.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
- Robotics, PLC, and HMI experience preferred.
- Ability to work shifts (Days, Afternoons, or Midnights).
- Willingness to work scheduled overtime.
