Job Description :

As a Licensed Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities :

  1. Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, control systems, and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure minimal downtime.
  3. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  4. Follow all electrical codes and regulations specific to Ontario.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  6. Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems as required.
  7. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
  8. Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Requirements :

  1. Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A Preferred)
  2. Previous experience working in an automated industrial facility. (Siemens Step 7 would be an asset)
  3. Strong understanding of electrical systems, machinery, and safety protocols.
  4. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  5. Must follow all electrical codes and regulations for Ontario.
  6. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
