Qualifications

Knowledge of power distribution systems, sizing, selection and layout.
Electrical engineering design of single-line diagrams, control schematics, PLC panels, and area classifications.
Experience with CAD or electrical design software and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
Diploma Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent education/experience.
Ability to work on-site in Grande Prairie, AB, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts and schematics for power distribution and related systems.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver projects on time.
Perform design calculations and support field reviews.
Update documentation and coordinate with other disciplines.
Support construction and commissioning activities as needed.
