Job summary

Silent-Aire is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support installation, termination and assembly of electrical systems at the P11 (Nisku) plant. You will assist with wiring, panel fabrication and control circuits under a Journeyperson, in a safety‑conscious environment.

The role requires enrolment in an approved trade program and a foundation in electrical fundamentals, with strong teamwork and reliability for a high‑volume production setting.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as an Apprentice Electrician with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) and actively enrolled in an approved trade school program.
• Minimum 500 hours of electrical experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate conduit, cable, electrical equipment, panels, sensors and control components in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Assist with construction and fabrication of control panels and perform rough-in and finishing wiring for control systems.
• Install interlocking wiring and assist with wiring verification and checkout in accordance with applicable codes and specifications.
• Install electrical system components and wiring in compliance with applicable codes and standards, including the CEC, NEC, NESC, NFPA and UFC.
• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical control circuits for motors and control devices.
• Assist in reviewing facility electrical system plans and specifications and identify opportunities for improvements to performance and efficiency.
