Job summary

Silent-Aire is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist with the installation, termination and assembly of electrical systems under a Journeyperson. You will help build control panels, run wiring, and ensure safety and compliance with CEC/NEC where applicable.

Must be enrolled in a recognized trade program, with Alberta AIT apprenticeship status and at least 500 hours of electrical experience. Physical stamina and ability to lift 35 lbs are required, and previous industrial exposure is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered as an Apprentice Electrician with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT).
• Active enrollment in an approved trade school program is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate conduit, cable, electrical equipment, panels, sensors and control components in compliance with codes.
• Assist with construction and fabrication of control panels and wiring verification.
• Install interlocking wiring and assist with checkout per codes and specs.
• Support testing of installed, repaired or modified equipment for proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and documentation per procedures.
