Job summary

NS Vaughan Employer in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a skilled CNC operator to set up and run CNC machines including High Speed Knife Cutting, Router, Waterjet and Hydraulic Presses to produce precision parts. You will perform first-off and in-process inspections, verify dimensions from drawings, package finished goods, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following AS9100 procedures.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and 3–5 years of related experience, strong mechanical

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and verify basic dimensions.
  • Autocad and computer literacy are assets.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines with precision (High Speed Knife Cutting, Router, Waterjet & Hydraulic Presses).
  • Perform first-off and in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Package and label finished goods according to customer specifications.
  • Verify materials, dies, and documentation before cutting operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Assist with loading/unloading materials and deliveries.
  • Provide feedback on customer issues, equipment concerns, or delivery challenges.
  • Follow all applicable procedures and standards (e.g., AS9100).
  • Support training of new team members when needed.
