Irving Shipbuilding is seeking an Industrial Compliance Officer to partner with the Senior Specialist to establish governance mechanisms, artifacts, and templates, including RACI matrices and decision flows. The role supports implementing the NIST CSF for the River Class Destroyer Program and ensures auditable compliance across the organization.
The position requires a post-secondary qualification, 0–2 years of experience, and a readiness to learn.
The Industrial Compliance Officer works with the Senior Specialist to create governance mechanics, including artifacts, cadence, and tracking processes, to ensure compliance execution is consistent and auditable. The role develops governance-specific artifacts such as RACI matrices, decision flows, standards, and templates, and assists with the implementation of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF) for the River Class Destroyer Program.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
