Job summary

TRAXX Coachlines is hiring a Full-Time Industrial Bus Operator to safely transport passengers in Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas. You’ll be a vital part of a team focused on safety and service excellence, delivering friendly, efficient travel experiences.

The role requires a Class 2 CDL, at least 1 year of shuttle/school bus driving, a clean driver’s abstract, and strong communication skills. Benefits include RRSP, health benefits and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

  • 1 year shuttle bus/school bus driving experience.
  • Class 2 CDL mandatory.
  • Proof of clean driver’s abstract.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous shuttle bus or passenger transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers on the established route following safety protocols.
  • Assist with loading and unloading passengers' luggage.
  • Address passenger inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Keep passengers informed of trip progress and delays.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and document incidents.
  • Maintain the shuttle bus in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Complete and maintain trip logs.
  • Available to work a fixed schedule, including weekends and holidays.

We are looking for drivers to help expand our operations and deliver excellent service to our clients. At TRAXX, you'll be a vital member of the team, ensuring safe and smooth transportation for passengers in the Fort Saskatchewan area. Your ability to provide friendly, safe, and efficient service will ensure that your passengers have a pleasant and smooth experience. We are looking for individuals with a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for safe driving.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport passengers according to the established route, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Assistwith loading and unloading passengers' luggage.
  • Address passenger inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Keep passengers informed of trip progress and advise of any delays.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting any incidents or vehicle concerns.
  • Maintain the shuttle bus in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Complete andmaintaintrip logs.
  • Available to work a fixed schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Class 2 Commercial Driver's License (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 1 year of shuttle bus/school bus driving experience.
  • Proof of clean driver’s abstract.
  • Strong communicationand customer service skills.
  • Previousexperience with shuttle bus or similar passenger transportation is preferred.
