Best Buy Canada is seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer (Senior Lean Engineering Analyst) to design and implement automated systems at our Brampton DC, in a hybrid role with 4 days on-site and one remote day each week in the GTA.

You will collaborate with engineers and supply chain specialists to improve distribution center processes, optimize material handling, and lead projects on layout, technology deployment, and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering, logistics or distribution.
• 2+ years of experience implementing warehouse or industrial automation solutions.
• Advanced AutoCAD and Excel skills.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design automated systems to increase productivity by improving integration of people, processes, and technology.
• Design and implement improvements to automation equipment to increase efficiency and productivity for current and future business needs.
• Evaluate, analyze, and implement improvements to distribution center processes and material handling changes.
• Manage projects of various sizes related to facility layout and design, relocation, new process integration, and technology deployment.
