GardaWorld Security Services is seeking Ad Hoc Industrial Security Guards to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. The role offers flexible, casual work across various industrial sites and assignments, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time work and uniform provided.

Members will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and document events while maintaining strong communication and vigilance.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security Licence is required.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or security roles is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

Qualifications For Ad Hoc Industrial Security Guard

• Valid Alberta Security Licence
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence may be required for certain assignments
• Previous industrial, commercial, or security experience is an asset
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned sites
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Must be willing to work various shifts, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays
