Job summary

Primoris Canada seeks a Journeyman Welder B-Pressure to support internal fabrication shop projects in Edmonton, AB. The role centers on pressure pipe welding in a controlled indoor environment, assembling spools and fittings from 2” to 12” while following WPS and drawings.

You will perform SMAW and STT/FCAW welds, ensure weld integrity to code, and uphold safety. Alberta-registered journeyman status and CSTS-20 are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• Alberta-registered Journeyman Welder with B-Pressure ticket.
• Experience with roll welding, groove welds and fillet welds.
• Fabrication shop experience preferred.
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing per policy.
• CSTS-20, WHMIS 2015 and crane/rigging assets are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform B-pressure pipe welding in an indoor fabrication shop.
• Read weld procedures (WPS) and isometric drawings.
• Weld using SMAW and STT/FCAW processes.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to code and specs.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and participate in toolbox talks.
