Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and garden plants to retailers in Western Canada and the Northwestern US. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our products at our Walmart Plant Centers in Vancouver BC - Grandview. This role starts as very part-time at 4 hrs per week, making it ideal for students, second jobs, or those seeking a flexible position. Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for caring for and presenting live goods in retail stores, restocking products, and maintaining visual displays. Successful merchandisers pay attention to detail, follow directions, are self-motivated, and understand the importance of product presentation, pricing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work—able to lift 50 lbs.

• Unloading carts of product onto tables and/or carts.
• Pricing products appropriately when required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Creating merchandise displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Paying close attention to details.
• Being self-driven, managing time and duties effectively.
• Maintaining high energy levels.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Smartphone required for email, photos, and communication.
• Flexible schedule options.
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not mandatory.
• Safety-toed shoes (steel or composite) required during shifts.

Preferred Skills: Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-direction, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and physical capability for manual labor. Merchandising experience (1 year preferred).
