Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and garden plants to retailers in Western Canada and North Western US. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Walmart Plant Centers in Squamish, BC. This role starts as very part-time at 4-6 hrs per week. Ideal for a student, second job, or someone who enjoys a very flexible position. With this job, you can be proud of what you do. Potential to grow with the company!

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in local retail stores and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work hard, pay attention to details, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They manage visual displays, product integrity, pricing, and inventory.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work - able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull and reach.
• Unloading carts of product onto tables and/or carts.
• Pricing appropriately if required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Merchandising displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Attention to details.
• Self-driven, able to prioritize time and duties.
• High energy level.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Smartphone required, regular usage (email, phone, photos, etc.).
• Flexible schedule.
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• Safety-toed shoes (steel or composite) required during shifts.

Preferred Skills: Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-direction, organizational skills, problem solving, and physical capability for manual labor. Merchandising experience: 1 year (preferred).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour.

Schedule: Flexible.
