Job summary

Mappedin is seeking a diligent Co-op Mapper to digitize indoor floorplans from blueprints, transforming them into clear, interactive maps using the Editor tool. You will work closely with Project Managers and other Mappers to ensure accuracy and user-friendly maps for diverse venues.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quick learners with strong time management and a flair for design. The role requires in-person work at our Waterloo office, with flexible support offered for accommodations.

Qualifications

• Great attention to detail and a friendly attitude.
• Able to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated time management to meet project deadlines.
• Co-op enrollment in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geomatics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and digitize indoor floorplans from blueprints and architectural plans.
• Use Mappedin Editor to create clear, interactive maps for client use cases.
• Perform QA and participate in peer reviews to ensure map accuracy.
• Assist with ongoing map updates and revisions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Coordinators, and other Mappers.
