Our Opportunity : Rainbow Greenhouse supplies Annuals to Home Depots in Western Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Home Depot Garden Center in Campbell River, BC .

Job Summary : Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the annuals in the Home Depots and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work diligently, pay attention to detail, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They are responsible for visual displays, product integrity, pricing, and inventory management.

Key Attributes :

• Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with all team members.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
• Complete tasks from start to finish with 100% effort before handing off.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Physical work : able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push / pull and reach; perform repetitive movements.
• Unload carts of product onto tables or carts.
• Price products appropriately if required.
• Report inventory needs to supervisors.
• Merchandise displays according to Rainbow merchandising standards.
• Remain on your feet for long periods, walking over 20,000 steps per shift.
• Be self-driven, prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintain high energy levels.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Smartphone with data plan for email, photos, and apps.
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA steel-toed shoes are required for the shift duration.

Preferred Skills :

• Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, organization, problem-solving, and physical capability for manual labor.

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent

Pay : $18.00-$20.00 per hour
