Sandy Bay Child & Family Services in Manitoba seeks a capable supervisor to manage and supervise the prevention program, coordinating with community resources and the Cultural Services Coordinator to shape program development and implementation.

Responsibilities include developing work plans and budgets, leading weekly meetings, overseeing social media for prevention programs, coordinating ISC reporting, and engaging youth and families while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Competenze

• Degree or diploma in social work or related field.
• Grade 12 diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years supervising/managerial experience in Child Services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Valid Manitoba driver's license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel.
• Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Child Abuse Registry Check required.
• Knowledge and respect for First Nations cultures/traditions.
• Ojibway language would be an asset.

Mansioni

• Develop program work plan and quarterly budget with the team.
• Develop and implement prevention programs per work plan.
• Facilitate weekly prevention team meetings.
• Oversee social media activities for prevention programs.
• Coordinate with Cultural Services Coordinator to tailor the prevention plan.
• Oversee scheduling, organization, facilitation and coordination of programs.
• Assist in administering operating budget and inventory controls; train staff on budgeting, reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate with ISC reporting with multiple teams.
• Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines and procedures are followed.
• Arrange monthly reports for Executive Director and others to support approvals.
• Collaborate with community resources and attend relevant meetings.
• Coordinate supports with Post Majority Support Services and front-line services.
• May assist youth and parents in accessing resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
