Job summary

Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee quality adult programs for First Nations learners across Saskatchewan. You will coordinate from start to finish, including administration, budgeting, and instructor/student management, while aligning with SIIT policies and community needs.

Travel to SIIT locations, collaborate with trustees and departments, and report on program performance.

Qualifications

A degree in business administration, management, or a related field with 3–6 years of related experience in program coordination/administration.
PMP designation or significant project management experience is an asset.
Experience in post-secondary education and knowledge of First Nations cultures are assets.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and administer quality adult programs and services for First Nations learners across Saskatchewan.
Plan, implement and evaluate activities to attract First Nations communities to SIIT programs.
Travel to assigned program locations and oversee instructors, students and schedules.
Prepare and submit reports to internal and external stakeholders and monitor outcomes.
Develop contracts and budgets with outside parties for programs and services.
Foster partnerships with Bands, Tribal Councils, FSIN and funding institutions to meet community needs.
