Job summary

Aon is seeking an organized administrator to support the Indigenous Services Group (ISG) leadership across Canada. You will help manage daily priorities, coordinate initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities, partners, and clients.

Role involves administrative and data analysis tasks, event planning, and contributing to proposals and marketing materials. Fluency in English, French is a plus, and familiarity with Indigenous relations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Administrative and data analytics capabilities with Office 365, Copilot, and SharePoint expertise.
• Strong business insight and client service orientation with ability to handle diverse tasks.
• Experience or strong preference in working with Indigenous communities across Canada.
• Self-motivated, organized, adaptable team player with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; bilingual French/English preferred.

What The Day Will Look Like

In this role, you will support Aon's Indigenous Services Group (ISG) leadership team by assisting with their daily priorities as needed. You will combine strong organizational skills, business insight, and client service to handle many tasks. These include coordinating Indigenous initiatives, administration, event planning, research and data analysis.

• Serving as the main support for a group of ISG leaders, actively helping with their everyday requirements, priorities, and follow-ups.
• Planning and coordinating events, meetings, and engagements with Indigenous communities, partners, and clients.
• Developing and maintaining respectful, sustained relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, partners, and stakeholders across Canada.
• Serving as a liaison and brand ambassador, connecting stakeholders, managing marketing and communications, and coordinating sponsorships.
• Offering administrative and data analysis assistance, including monitoring and reporting on essential performance measures and claims
• Contributing content for RFPs, proposals, and marketing materials related to Indigenous relations and services.
• Applying relevant professional experience, cultural awareness and knowledge of working respectfully with Indigenous communities and organizations across Canada.
• Promoting and advancing Aon's Reconciliation Commitment in Canada and advocating for opportunities for Indigenous people within Aon and across industries.
• Supporting Aon Canada's journey to become a PAIR (Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations) certified organization and promoting Aon's dedication to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action
• Managing and keeping track of important Indigenous dates of significance as well as related initiatives, events, and ongoing communications.
• Developing solid connections with other divisions across the firm.
• Carrying out other related duties and responsibilities as assigned, recognizing that the role will involve a wide variety of evolving responsibilities.

How This Opportunity Is Different

In this role, you will be the main support for a national leadership team operating where reconciliation, insurance and opportunities meet. You will work closely with the Managing Director, National ISG Segment Leader, and other ISG leaders. You will become a trusted partner in their everyday activities while gaining broad exposure across Aon's business through collaboration with consulting, analytics, operations, and client service teams. Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Demonstrated administrative and data analytics capabilities, with expertise in Office 365 tools, Copilot, managing SharePoint sites, and developing well-crafted presentation materials and templates.
• Proven business insight and customer service orientation, with the ability to anticipate leader and client needs, prioritize effectively, and handle a wide variety of responsibilities.
• Proven knowledge of, and experience collaborating and/or working with Indigenous communities, organizations and partners across Canada is strongly preferred.
• Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable great teammate who requires minimal supervision, can independently track tasks, manage competing priorities, and report progress regularly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with preference for bilingual (French / English) or multiple language capabilities; insurance or professional services experience is considered an asset.
