The Relationship Lead role provides an opportunity to develop strong relationships with clients built on the foundation of a global organization that is in the business of better decisions.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

The salary range for this position is $126,000 - $168,000 CAD. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

What the day will look like
  • Build and maintain strong client and prospect relationships, including C-suite engagement.
  • Drive growth by introducing additional solution lines and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Lead annual planning, strategy development, and client communications.
  • Monitor client satisfaction (Net Promoter Score), address risks, and implement Aon Client Promise activities.
  • Partner with Delivery Leads to align on deliverables and join client meetings.
  • Manage onboarding, budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and compliance.
  • Ensure service value is clear and revenue aligns with work performed.
  • Support client roundtables and maintain visibility with industry organizations.
How this opportunity is different

The Relationship Lead will ensure year over year growth of client revenue by expansion of revenue/services to existing clients and working with Producers (to and from them) to build relationships with prospective clients to support new logo revenue, new logos identified by Producer, RFP, Global and local relationships.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Hands‑on experience in the Health Benefits realm is required
  • Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce or similar area of focus is helpful but not required
  • Consistent track record to build, maintain and expand effective professional relationships across multiple partner groups
  • High levels of Emotional Quotient/Intelligence (EQ) and eye for business
  • Natural curiosity coupled with a positive mentality and approach to problem solving
  • Life Insurance license will be required within 12 months if not already held
