Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Indigenous Rights and Consultation Lead to guide Aboriginal and Treaty Rights assessments, engage with communities, and integrate Indigenous Knowledge across projects based in our Calgary, Edmonton, and national offices. This senior role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and delivering culturally informed assessments.

The position supports environmental planning and infrastructure projects across Canada, with flexible hybrid work

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 15 years of direct relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of the Duty to Consult and Accommodation.
• Knowledge of Indigenous communities for projects in Canada.
• Understanding of planning frameworks and engagement techniques.
• Strong writing and report development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline programs and assess Aboriginal and Treaty Rights.
• Guide Duty to Consult processes and engagements.
• Provide IK/ILRU expertise to project teams and clients.
• Develop reports and deliverables with cultural protocols.
• Travel across Canada for project work.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate programs.
