Nisga'a School District No. 92 is seeking a Junior Humanities Teacher to educate students at Nisga'a Secondary School.

Qualifications

  • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligibility).
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada.
  • Experience delivering instruction in English, Language Arts, Social Studies, Arts Education.
  • Knowledge of the BC Curriculum, including learning standards and core competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with BC curriculum and learning standards.
  • Use assessment to inform instruction and support learner growth over time.
  • Create inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environments that support wellbeing and success of all learners.
