Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Manager, Indigenous Employment to connect Indigenous candidates with opportunities across Canada. You will build community relationships, participate in events, and support candidates through employment pathways.

The role emphasizes outreach, reporting, and collaboration with Recruitment and Operations to meet workforce needs and commitments. Travel across Canada and some after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Indigenous relations or related experience.
• Experience with Indigenous communities, leadership, and priorities across Canada.
• Experience in recruitment outreach or employment services.
• Strong administrative skills, reporting and record-keeping.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; professional presence.
• Willingness to travel across Canada; occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Indigenous communities and partners.
• Lead Indigenous candidate outreach and talent pipelines.
• Represent Dexterra at community events and career fairs.
• Connect candidates with opportunities and guide pre-employment steps.
• Identify training and workforce-readiness opportunities.
• Coordinate outreach with Recruitment and Operations.
• Plan recruitment events and community engagements.
• Maintain records of referrals, outreach, and outcomes.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
