Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg seeks an Indigenous Community Hub Coordinator to support operational delivery of health services in the ED Community Hub. You will coordinate health and human services, address barriers to care, and promote culturally safe, patient-centered delivery in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and Indigenous partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years supervisory/administrative experience working with Indigenous community in healthcare.
• Experience with Indigenous governments, organizations and agencies such as First Nations, Tribal Councils, Manitoba Inuit Association, Manitoba Métis Federation, Urban Indigenous Associations, Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, SCO and MKO.
• Ability to apply Indigenous lens to health operations and culturally safe care.

• Support case management and staff coordination with Indigenous communities and partners.
• Ensure privacy, safety and health regulations compliance.
