Passport Health in North Vancouver is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for travel medicine. This role emphasizes autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connections, rather than traditional clinic routines. Employment Type: Part-Time.

Compensation: CA$33.00 - CA$37.00/hour. Weekly hours: 8 - 24, including every other weekend. You will conduct travel health consultations, vaccinate per standing orders, and promote travel health products while ensuring safety and

Qualificações

• 1+ years of clinical nursing experience (travel medicine background a plus, not required).
• Comfortable working independently — you won't always have backup in the clinic.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.
• Reliable access to a personal computer (training systems require desktop or laptop).
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet).
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed (up to 25 lbs).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks.
• Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Recommend and promote travel health products and medications as clinically appropriate.
• Manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance with safety and documentation protocols.
• Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed.
• Complete ongoing travel medicine training - we invest in keeping your clinical knowledge current.
