Job summary

Medcan is seeking a licensed Physiotherapist to join its Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation team at the Markham clinic. This Independent Contractor role offers a 2-3 half-day commitment with the potential to build to full days as volume grows. The schedule will be mutually determined and flexible.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based musculoskeletal care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a high-performance practice within Medcan.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy degree required.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required.
• Minimum two years of experience in orthopedic and sports injuries.
• Superior organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based musculoskeletal conservative care.
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical care practices and professionalism.
• Integrate Chiropractic services into an existing collaborative practice environment.
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, massage therapists, fitness professionals and other physiotherapists.
• Emphasize inter-professional collaborations through effective communication and coordinated treatment plans.
