Dialogue seeks Independent In-Person EAP Providers in Canada to join our network and deliver short-term counselling with a client-centered approach. You will receive referrals based on demand in your area and maintain your own private practice while expanding access to high-quality mental health support.

Candidates should hold a university degree in counselling and have an active license with professional insurance.

Qualifications

• University degree in a field related to counselling (e.g., psychology, social work, psychoeducation, career counselling, sexology, criminology).
• A professional license and a valid professional insurance.
• Access to an office in Canada to provide in-person sessions.
• Experience with or an interest in providing short-term counselling.
• Experience providing intervention or coaching services to couples, families, or individuals aged 14 and older (an asset).
• A good knowledge of community resources (an asset).

Responsabilités

• Receiving client case referrals based on demand in your area.
• Providing consultations using a short-term, solution- and goal-focused approach to various clients consulting for different mental health-related topics.
• Helping clients identify, understand, and overcome personal challenges and achieve their individual objectives.
• Empowering clients to talk openly about their challenges and creating a judgment-free environment.
• Assisting clients in finding external resources complementary to our services (if needed).
