Job summary

Dialogue is seeking independent in-person EAP providers with a licensed practice in Canada to join our national network. As a provider, you will receive client referrals based on demand in your area and deliver short-term, solution-focused consultations to diverse clients seeking mental health support.

This role offers flexible scheduling, the ability to complement your private practice, and access to our secure online platform for case management and payments.

Qualifications

• University degree in a field related to counselling.
• A professional license and a valid professional insurance.
• Experience with or interest in providing short-term counselling.
• Experience providing intervention or coaching services to couples, families, or individuals aged 14+ is an asset.
• Knowledge of community resources is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving client case referrals based on demand in your area.
• Providing consultations using a short-term, solution and goal-focused approach to various clients.
• Helping clients identify, understand, and overcome personal challenges and achieve their objectives.
• Empowering clients to talk openly about their challenges in a judgment-free environment.
• Assisting clients in finding external resources complementary to our services.

Dialogue is looking for independent licensed professionals with an in-person practice in Canada to contribute to our mission of helping people improve their well-being.

As a provider within our EAP network, you will have the opportunity to receive client case referrals as a complement to your current practice. Given that the referrals will be sent based on demand in your area, there is no guaranteed number of referrals.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving client case referrals based on demand in your area
• Providing consultations using a short-term, solution and goal-focused approach to various clients consulting for different mental health-related topics
• Helping clients identify, understand, and overcome personal challenges and achieve their individual objectives
• Empowering clients to talk openly about their challenges and creating a judgment-free environment
• Assisting clients in finding external resources complementary to our services (if needed)

We'd love to hear from you if you have

• University degree in a field related to counselling (e.g., psychology, social work, psychoeducation, career counselling, sexology, criminology)
• A professional license and a valid professional insurance
• Access to an office in Canada to provide in-person sessions
• Experience with or an interest in providing short-term counselling
• Experience providing intervention or coaching services to couples, families, or individuals aged 14 and older (an asset)
• A good knowledge of community resources (an asset)
