The Byng Group is seeking experienced Independent General Renovation Contractors for steady work in Kitchener. This role focuses on apartment turnover and various renovation tasks across the Kitchener-Waterloo region.

Qualified contractors will enjoy a consistent work pipeline with bi-weekly payments and a pre-approved pricing schedule. The successful candidates must possess a registered business, adequate insurance, and tools, and be ready to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must operate as an Independent Contractor.
• Registered business with a valid GST/HST number.
• Minimum $2M Commercial General Liability Insurance.
• Valid WSIB Clearance Certificate.
• Experience in residential renovations and apartment turnovers.

Responsibilities

• Interior demolition and debris removal.
• Painting, drywall repairs, patching, mudding, and touch-ups.
• Cabinet installation and replacement.
• Tile installation, including backsplashes and tub surrounds.
• Preparation of units for incoming residents.

We are seeking qualified Independent Contractors to support apartment turnover and renovation projects throughout Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.

Scope of Work

• Interior demolition and debris removal
• Painting, drywall repairs, patching, mudding, and touch-ups

• General carpentry, finishing, and turnover repairs
• Preparation of units for incoming residents

Requirements
